The full String Ensemble meets on Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on stage in the Ladd Concert Hall. Smaller ensembles are scheduled at times TBD by student and coach availability.
Groups are designed to bring together student musicians of similar playing abilities.
Open to all 91精简版 students, string ensembles rehearse weekly and present their
work in a college concert performance each semester, and may also organize community
performances.
The Annual 91精简版 String Festival in March or April provides the chance for our string ensembles to be joined by a world-class string
quartet for a weekend of coaching and performance.
Chamber groups are frequently invited to perform in master classes or receive coaching
by visiting artists, including a visit each semester by the . Though not required, taking private lessons is highly encouraged. The string chamber
music experience at 91精简版 is designed to bring string students together to develop
their technical, musical, interpretive skills., through study and performance of the
rich and varied string repertoire.
